Relax and forget the pressures of life in a romantic holiday cottage at beautiful Mount Glorious, just 40 kilometres from Brisbane - close to the city yet a world away! Turkey's Nest is nestled in 15 acres of tranquil rainforest. Turkey's Nest offers a choice of accommodation, from cosy private cottage to spacious bed and breakfast suite.
Awake to the sound of whip birds, and relax on the verandah where parrots, rosellas, finches, cockatoos and kookaburras come to feed. Here at Turkey's Nest over 40 varieties of exotic birds have been sighted , and binoculars and bird identification books are provided for bird watching on site.
Situated in the D'Aguilar Range 620 metres above sea level, Mount Glorious offers welcome relief from the summer heat. In winter, as mists waft through the rainforest, warm yourself by the fireplace, with a glass of wine, a good book, and of course our complimentary port and chocolates.
There are numerous bush walks in the area, from short strolls to long hikes. Follow up with coffee at a local cafe, and then enhance the mood with a massage. How much more relaxing can it get?
