Treat yourself to a delicious break at the Paperbark Cafe. We're open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon teas. How about an indulgent, fully-cooked breakfast at the weekend? Or something a little lighter during the week? There are lots of choices and - of course - delicious juices, a wide variety of teas, and simply the best coffee around. Our cafe is in the tranquil surroundings of Kuranga Native Nursery, overlooking the beautiful Olinda Creek and surrounded by majestic bushland. There's air-conditioning and indoor and outdoor seating (heated in winter, of course!). Everything is prepared on the premises by our talented chefs and our friendly staff always make you welcome. Our seasonal lunch menu features a wide range of fresh and delicious dishes - including vegetarian and gluten-free choices - prepared from the finest local ingredients. There's old favourites and innovative new dishes including freshly-made soup with crusty, fragrant damper, beautifully-prepared pastry and creamy pasta dishes, crisp salads, daily specials - and a range of tempting cakes, slices and desserts. Carefully-chosen Yarra Valley wines complement your selection. Our wattleseed scones with bush jams and macadamia butter are a hot favourite for morning or afternoon tea. There's always a wide range of freshly-baked biscuits, slices and cakes and our melt-in-the-mouth brownies are almost too good to be true. We also stock locally-produced preserves and relishes and superb hand-made chocolates and confectionery for you to enjoy at home. Members of the Yarra Valley Regional Food Group, we proudly support the food and wine producers of the Yarra Valley and use local products and indigenous flavours in our menu. A relaxing break in the Paperbark Cafe is an ideal way to finish off a visit to Kuranga Native Nursery and its great gift shop.
