WHAT IS AYURVEDA?

Ayurveda is derived from two words, ie: Ayu – meaning ‘life’ or ‘daily living’ and Veda – meaning ‘knowing’ or  ‘science’ so Ayurveda can rightly be termed as the ‘Science of life’. T

This healing system has been practiced in daily life in India for more than 6000 years. Ayurveda teaches that man is a microcosm, a universe within himself. It views health and disease in holistic terms, taking into consideration the inherent relationship between energy and matter. Ayurveda helps the healthy person to maintain health and the diseased person to regain health.
