Helm Wines (established in 1973) was one of the first commercial wineries in the cool climate Canberra District. The winery is set in the picturesque Yass Valley, just a 30 minute drive from Canberra. Visitors are welcome to picnic in the grounds surrounding the rustic winery. Winery tours are available by appointment. Cellar door sales are available or pick up a bottle or two at the Yass Valley Visitor Information Centre.
