On Saturday 28th March at 8.30 pm, around the world households, businesses, communities, governments and even the Pyramids of Egypt are switching off their lights to send a message to the UN Climate Change Conference being held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in December 2009.

It is aimed that 1 billion people will participate.

So, turn off your lights and hold a candelit dinner, or dine at one of these Canberra restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars that are participating in Earth Hour:
