Miso Corn

This is another awesome barbecue idea — something a little different but tastes so good.

Serves: 4


  • 4 corn cobs
  • 2 tablespoons butter or non-dairy spread
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • cracked pepper


  • Tidy up corn cobs, strip husks and trim ends.
  • Bring a large pot of water to the boil and then place corn cobs into the water for 2–3 minutes.
  • Remove the corn and drain the water. In the same pot, add butter and miso paste. Melt it and mix to combine. Return the corn cobs to the pot and toss through the miso butter. Season with some cracked pepper.
  • Place corn cobs onto a tray and grill for 3–4 minutes until char-grilled, turning the corn regularly.
