World Theatre Festival - Scratch Series: ‘The Room' (Brisbane, Australia).
Question physical and virtual worlds as you journey into live performance through an immersive digital installation.
This work explores the metaphor of rooms as an architectural reality and challenges you to consider your personal identity within the space.
You will take a performance walk through, in and around Brisbane Powerhouse before entering the interactive digital performance space.
This hybrid performance has been developed by Backbone Youth Arts and a motley crew of web and software developers, sound artists and coders brought together by their love of tinkering and experimenting. Featuring elements of alternate reality gaming, this is one you will have to experience to believe.
Recommended for people aged 10 years and over. Please note that this promenade performance contains spaces that are not wheelchair accessible.
