Food duo Lethlean and Wilden go national
Melbourne food duo John Lethlean and Necia Wilden will co-edit expanded food and wine coverage in The Weekend Australian Magazine following their shock departure from The Age.
There has been much speculation since their resignations in December. The Australian revealed this week the duo will edit an expanded food and wine section in its Saturday glossy, debuting in the food special of the magazine on April 18 with a new five-page section, called Taste, starting the week after.
Lethlean will be the first national restaurant reviewer since the Financial Review dropped its coverage almost 10 years ago.
Janne Apelgren has taken over the joint editorship of the The Age's Good Food Guide and Larissa Dubecki debuted as Epicure's new Espresso columnist and restaurant reviewer this week.
