Hi butters,

Leading on from Lou's search tips, having the lucky position of VisitVineyards.com's product manager based here on the Peninsula, I've had the chance to get to know a few different cooking schools down this way.

I'd recommend contacting Georges Boutique B&B and Culinary School, who have employed a very talented chef Duncan White-Robertson, and the views over Port Phillip Bay are stunning! Big Blue Kitchen too looks to offer a fantastic experience. Both offer accommodation on site.

You may also be interested in food tours run by Harvest 2 Hearth Caigailt, listed under the 'tours' section - these 'gum-booted' chef led tours are a great way to meet local producers and to sample the excellent produce on offer. Go to http://www.visitmorningtonvineyards.com/tours to find out more.

Please let me know how you get on and any hidden gems you uncover!

Sara
