Hey guys, www.joos.com.au is quite good. They have 2 weekly specials each week. They seem to have good wine quite cheap. I have bought a few times and very happy plus quick delivery. Enjoy

Hell on earth for a winelover Aussie John.

This particular country just charged me 125% Duty on a case of wine I imported today.

Further still, the bureaucracy forgot to tell me it had arrived. So my Moss Wood,Grosset,Henschke had a nice sunbake on the tarmac at 45degrees.

We shall see how good those cellar boxes are!

What specifically are you talking about? I've found liquorstore.com.au to be more than competitive, on a wide range of hard to get products, older vintages etc. I'll grant you they're making money, but I think they're still fair.

liquorstore.com.au is a shocker. Pay 20%+ above retail everytime.

I think Winestar have a good range. They also do a good newsletter. I don't know if they ship to nz. For what its worth, the Central Otago Wine Shop quoted me NZ$130 for delivery and oz tax on a case of pinot noir. Not cheap but the prices on their website are much cheaper than you pay here.

Si,

I'm a Kiwi too and I got some well priced Coriole Lloyd Shiraz off Langtons. I'm sorry I can't recall the shipping price, but let's just say I haven't been back. Getting it to NZ totally blew out the price per bottle. My view is that they're very good if you're living in Australia only.

Jamie, you must be famous. Do you realise they have named a country after you?

kiwi 2,
I don't know the cost of 1 dozen to NZ, but I've sent wine to the UK before with them & found their rates to be much better than others, about $220.00 for 1 doz to London, door to door, no extra cost on arrival. Others quoted me in excess of $450.00 for 1 dozen. NZ won't be nearly as expensive, I think you have to call them for individual quotes, as they don't seem to have general rates.
Good luck,
lantana

Back up Auswine.

Good, hard to get on the east coast stuff-Veritas ect.

Well presented and I would be a very loyal customer if the Aussie dollar hadn't strengthened so much.

Si,

Try www.auswine.com.au

Gavin has a great listing of good Aussie wines from good vintages respectively, most of which are not your run of the mill commercial brands.

www.winesaver or www.liquorstore.com.au will deliver to N.Z , quite reasonable freight costs, also.
Oh & by the way, thanks for not softening up the Poms enough for us!!

Try www.winerobot.com.au, www.yellowpages.com.au or the Winepros Directory for wine shops. Not sure if Langtons deliver. Choice Bro.

Hi All, I enjoyed reading the posts here, but since i live in NZ, we don't get all the top/interesting AUS wines here, any recommendation of wine shops that have a good selection and ship to NZ ?
Also dose langtons ship to NZ, some of the stuff looks very interesting
