Having friends over from the UK and States for a dinner. Like to know your thoughts on the following wines. Hope someone can help.

I have read about these wines. Can any one tell me more about them and where can I find them.

Le Pin 1996
Tignanello 1996

Are you aware that Le Pin Pomerol merlot is among the rarest and most expensive wines in the world with only 500 cases released at about $500pb in France?
The Super-Tuscan Antinori Tignanello is not much better.
Neither wine is anything like ready to drink yet and it would be a hanging offence to open them before 2004.
I hope they are VERY good friends!!

Can't remember if this vintage I've tasted but high quality in those I have

Le Pin 1996
Not the best vintage so may lack a little depth. Better with food early in its life.

Tignanello 1996
Can't remember tasting this before
