Has anyone been to the Goree Park (Mudgee) on Sep 5 to celebrate Fathers Day?. we travelled nearly 300kms there to celebrate fathers day after hearing that they would be serving wagyu beef. we were expecting to have a sumptuous lunch but was greatly disappointed, would you call 3 strips of meat (like bacon strips) a slice of steak? And priced at $20- quite outrageous. We were prepared to spend on the real slice of steak (250gms or more) but being served this miniscule piece of meat made us having second thoughts of returning to Goree Park. Might as well go around Sydney looking for the best Wagyu beef on some restaurants (even if not so fresh) - at least gives you your money's worth.
