Todays media report of the suspected adultration of wine by the Kingston Estate company only reinforces my belief that consumers are being sold a pup by all wine producers with the amount of chemicals being added to wine . It is about time all wine consumers demanded purity in the product. We should be paying for wine, not chemical additives.

Dear Quaffer,
Should we not see if the mud sticks before we sink the gumboots in. It could be a case of crossed wires or a grudge if not the truth. I would have thought Kingston were pretty committed to the long term.
Don't give up just yet!

Dear Quaffer,
You state "reinforces my belief that consumers are being sold a pup by all wine producers with the amount of chemicals being added to wine."
Tell me, where does this belief come from? Do you know something about the wine making process that I dont? If so please let us all know the FACTS of the case that you are so obviously knowledable about.
I own a pet shop and have sold a few thousand dogs, so I am qualified to comment about selling canines, but what expertise do you have to claim "consumers are being sold a pup by all wine producers?"
You then go on to state "It is about time all wine consumers demanded purity in the product." Care to expand what impurities you are refering to?
Your final statement is "We should be paying for wine, not chemical additives." In your expert opinion, what percentage of the cost of the bottle of wine is composed of "chemical additives?"
Please enlighten us all.
Cheers
Ric

Over the years, we've been foisted with woodchips, antifreeze (ethylene glycol), fake grape names, tartaric acid, excessive suplhite levels, un-named varieties in blends and who knows what else over the years - about time the wine makers came clean?!
