And now the vineyard tours, tastings and lunches...

Your personal tour of Voyager Estate is an informative journey that brings to life this inspirational mix of Cape Dutch architecture, award-winning restaurant, exquisite gardens, meticulous vineyards and premium wines.

Australia's largest underground barrel cellar is just one of the behind-the-scenes highlights of the tour which culminates in a guided tasting of Voyager Estate’s wines.

Then it's time for lunch in Voyager's elegant dining room and to sample the best local produce used by acclaimed Executive Chef Nigel Harvey and his committed team to create a feast of sensational dishes. All matched perfectly with Voyager wines of course.

Celebrate the art of living well with fine wine and food combined with a picturesque setting at Leeuwin Estate. Following your personal winery tour and tasting, a seasonal lunch will await you in their Gold Plate award-winning restaurant.

Relish the local produce in beautifully prepared dishes and discover how just how well it suits the Leeuwin wines. (The freshwater marron is a specialty).

You'll be basking in the tranquillity with the sweeping verandahs, bifolding doors and domed skylights that showcase the meadows and majrestic karri tree forests beyond.

It's not just about great wines – discover the boutique brews

Traditionally known for its exceptional wines, Margaret River is now home to an a number of innovative boutique brewers adding a new dimension to the culinary experience.

Family owned and operated Cowaramup Brewing Company serves up a range of traditional brews all made with the nine hop varieties grown on the property. Along with the four beers on tap – Pilsener Hefeweizen, Special Pale Ale and India Pale Ale – the brewers are always working on the next seasonal or specialty brew.

You'll enjoy a personal brewery tour and tasting before tucking into a delicious lunch in the beer garden and taking in the peaceful classic rural views.

 And local hospitality

Settlers Tavern is 'the kind of pub every wine region should have' – so said Gourmet Traveller in 2008 and this sentiment remains as strong as ever.

Originally built as a haven for the region's emerging surf culture of the 1970’s, it's now a gastronomic hub with an award-winning wine-list with over 250 wines from all over the world including more than 50 from Margaret River.

And not forgetting the 15 beers on tap from local boutique and international brewers plus a vast range of bottled beers.

The menu is driven by local produce and world flavours: local Wagyu beef, Plantagenet Free Range Pork, Mount Barker Free Range Chicken, Nannup Cambray Cheese and Margaret River Venison are southwest specialties.

There is always a great selection of freshly caught local fish as well and even plenty of pub favourites like Veal Parma, Lamb or Vegetable Curry, Laksa and Spag Bol.

Whether you choose lunch or dinner at Settlers, you're sure to rub shoulders with local legends and a widely eclectic mix of world-class winemakers, winery crew, locals and their families and travellers from every continent.

Get a new appreciation for coffee

As part of your Margaret River culinary experience, Yahava KoffeeWorks will take you on a full coffee appreciation course covering growing and harvesting, green beans, roasting and of course, the ultimate test – the tasting.

Yahava believe there's no one overall  'best coffee'  just the best coffee for your your own particular taste buds. They choose only the best quality beans available to provide a selective range of flavours and aromas so there's every chance you'll find your perfect brew.

To remember your KoffeeWorks course, you'll go home with a gift box that's full of delightful aromas and memories.

Discover diamonds, lakes, mammoths and a spectacular lighthouse

In between all the fabulous wine and food, experience some of the most unique and stunning caves in Australia and climb the country’s tallest mainland lighthouse with your complimentary entry to all four major attractions.

Be stunned by the dazzling visual display of nature at its finest in Jewel Cave where stalactites and straws stretch, suspended and hanging across the ceiling like vines and dancing cobwebs.  At Lake Cave absorb the peace and tranquillity of the mirrored reflections, surrounded by towering aged karri trees and in Mammoth Cave, an enormous gothic chamber, take the journey of Indigenous inhabitants and ancient megafauna - complete with fossils.

Take in the incredible views of Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse where two great oceans meet -  the Indian and Southern.  Its location creates a unique, awesome and contrasting experience year round.
