The Harden Gold Trail Festival opens Saturday night 2 May 2015 with a Bushranger's Dinner Dance at the Mechanics Institute, Neill Street, Harden. Music provided by Franklin B Paverty Band from Canberra.

The fun continues on Sunday 3 May 2015, with the Colonial Festival held at the Showground, Woolrych Street. Re-creating the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the colonial era, and featuring historic re-enactments; trade and craft demonstrations; dog trials; whip cracking and sheep shearing. And for those who dream of being a prospector...there's a chance to try gold panning.

Franklin B Paverty Band will provide musical entertainment throughout the day along with Maypole and Morris dancing displays. Prizes for the best colonial outfits. There'll be colonial games; photo booth with colonial costumes supplied; billy cart derby; market stalls; and plenty of food, including colonial fare.

Wheelchair access, free parking.
