The Harden Picnic Races are set in a scenic rural environment with the grounds shaded by weeping trees with plenty of areas to enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch.
Harden boasts an old style country picnic race meet. You can visit the mounting yard as the horses are paraded, and, from track side, cheer your favourite horse home as the horses near the finish line. The races are a day for the entire family to enjoy.
The six race card culminates with the CLAAS Harden Cup consisting of AUD6,000.00 in prize money. Why not come and back a winner with one of the local or interstate bookmakers. A 'punters club' will be on offer throughout the day.
A full bar will be operational with a separate wine bar featured. A range of fine food and coffee stalls will be available.
