Located almost half way between Sydney and Newcastle, Cedar Park Lavender has been established with an initial planting of 5000 intermediate variety lavender plants and companion plantings of rosemary and more than 100 fragrant roses. Hydroponic lettuce and herb production and a small herd of beef cattle complete the picturesque location.
Cedar Park Lavender has installed a 120 litre capacity distillation unit for the production of lavender essential oil from the summer harvest.
Lavender based and related cosmetic and skin care products, gifts and artefacts are available for purchase.
Enjoy a guided tour of the farm. Witness the distillation of lavender oil or simply relax and smell the roses, take in the beautiful garden on the property where you will see a living fossil, a Wollemi pine. .
