Murrumbateman is a vibrant rural village 30 minutes North of Canberra and 2.5 hours South of Sydney, located on the Barton Highway between Canberra and Yass.
The village is rapidly expanding, with many people being attracted from nearby cities looking for a relaxed country lifestyle.
Murrumbateman was historically based on wool & beef cattle but has recently emerged as a centre for wine & tourism with wineries, cafes and restaurants, award winning B&Bs and other attractions in Canberra and Yass.
