Celebrate the region's produce, producers and food providers with locals and visitors alike in a truly regional food experience. F.O.O.D week allows you to travel on a journey that begins literally at ground level at the farm gate.
F.O.O.D Week has grown to become a nationally recognised festival - many say its NSW's premier regional food event. With close to 100 events over the 10 days ranging from farm tours, producer dinners, family feasts, Farmers Markets, chef's dinners and the finest dinning the region has to offer.
You will meet all the people that make it happen at markets, workshops, kitchens, restaurants, cafes, wineries and special celebration dinners and events at superb locations. There are over 60 events that will appeal to your craving for a great regional food experience.
Highlights include:
F.O.O.D Week kicks off with the Night Market on Friday 9th April in Cook Park from 5:30-8:30pm. Local chefs are partnering with wineries to bring you superbly matched food and wine.
The main street of the village of Canowindra will host the 100 Mile Dinner with the Neighbours where a progressive dinner will let you experience all our region has to offer on Monday 12th April from 6:30pm. Unfortunately this event is already booked out - sorry.
The Country Energy F.O.O.D. Affair on Sunday 18th April brings the festivities to a close with over 50 food and wine stalls offering morsels to savour. Music and entertainment add to the carnival atmosphere and you can meet and chat to thelocal farmers, winemakers and chefs behind the Orange regions famous edible bounty. 10am-4pm
