Basalt Wine Bar plus Dining, located in the historic Commercial Hotel at the top end of Millthorpe, is a unique space comprising an engaging wine bar, dining room and outside courtyard.
The theme of Basalt is to highlight Orange regional wines as well as the plethora of locally grown produce. The Basalt team have extensive experience working with local foods and producers and are plating up some of the best flavours of the region with a modern Australian theme.
Basalt boasts a hand selected range of local wines from Orange regional winemakers, with a full range of Angullong wines by the glass. Guests can enjoy the flavours of the region from a tapas plate to a three course meal and a range of wines to complement each dish.
Children are also well catered for with meals and an outdoor play area.
