Pig in the House Organic Wine is located in Billimari, about 20km from Cowra in the Central Ranges of NSW.
The property was originally home to 20 free-range pigs but now it is organically producing premium red wines including cabernet sauvignon, merlot and shiraz..
Pig in the House vineyard believes that soil is the building block of their organic wine and necessary for the sustainability of the farm. Using compost, mulch, biodynamic preparations and cover crops to build up the soil develops a terroir which imparts unique characterstics into their wines.
