Racecourse Lane Wines is located in Pokolbin in the Lower Hunter Valley of New South Wales.
Racecourse Lane Wines was initiated by its owners, Mike & Helen McGorman to fulfill their ambition to grow, produce and enjoy quality wines.
Mike had fond memories as a child growing up in Adelaide and working on a 32 acre vineyard owned by his father in Morphett Vale, close to the now famous Southern Vales area of South Australia. Unfortunately the vineyard has long since gone, taken over by housing as Adelaide grew.
In 1998 they purchased the property now known as Racecourse Lane Wines. It consists of 37 acres (15Ha) and is located on the corner of Racecourse Lane and O'Connors Road, Pokolbin, in the Lower Hunter Valley, 160km north of Sydney in New South Wales
