Prince Hill wines are crafted by a highly experienced and award winning winemaking team and are designed to be fruit driven and an excellent complement to food.
Named after James Prince, an early pioneer who lived in the homestead which is now the site of the winery. Born in 1862 James Prince travelled to North America in search of gold and returned to his home in Mudgee to work the land. Today the Prince family still own some of the original land next o the winery and are keeping James' legend alive with their involvement in the Mudgee wine region.
Prince Hill Wines have developed into the largest independent wine producer in Mudgee with genuine passion for creating wines with local character. They believe that the Central Ranges of New South Wales – which comprises Mudgee, Orange and Cowra – has the potential to become an internationally renowned and world class wine region.
