Cargo Road Wines is located 860 metres above sea level, on the sheltered northern slopes of Mount Canobolas, Orange in central western NSW.
The Cargo Road Winery opened its cellar door in 1991.
It produces a range of red and white wines, the signature varieties being a Gewurztraminer and Zinfandel.
A visit to Cargo Road Wines offers the cellar door for tastings on weekends, the possibility to stroll around the vineyard, have a picnic under eucalypt trees, look in the gallery and enjoy a meal or coffee in the cafe. Bookings are required. Groups welcome.
