Racine Restaurant in Orange is the new home of award winning Chef Shaun Arantz. In January 2009 Shaun and his wife Willa along with their longstanding team took over the lease of the restaurant at La Colline Vineyard with the view to creating a smart and elegant fine dining restaurant in a truly rural setting typical to the region… a vineyard.
They named the restaurant Racine for a number of reasons; because it was the name of one of their favourite restaurants in London and the meaning of Racine fitted the location and ‘Frenchness' of La Colline Vineyard. Racine is French for origins or roots, which considering Shaun's heavy focus on using local produce seemed appropriate.
Shaun and Willa continue to focus on using as much local produce as possible on their menu and grow their restaurant into a premier regional dining destination in the emerging wine area of Orange.
