The RMH Snow Flake Ball is being held in Orange on the 18 July 2009, with the objective of raising funds for the building of the new Ronald McDonald House Central West in Orange. To date, close to $1 million has been raised towards the estimated $1.8 to $2 million that will be required to build this much needed facility.
Orange's Angullong Vineyard has joined with Ronald McDonald House (RMH) as the wine sponsor for the event.
“This is such a great cause, we feel privileged to have been invited to be part of it,” commented Angullong's Ben Crossing.
The Snowflake Ball has attracted a raft of culinary support with celebrity Chef Ben O'Donoghue joining Balzac's Matt Kemp and Orange's Michael Manners in preparing the menu, with local produce taking centre stage. The night will be hosted by Simon Reeve from Channel Seven's Sunrise program and Alison Reis from Prime TV.
The Snowflake Ball has been organised by RMH Chairperson of Events, Kylie Lewis-Minogue. “It is one of the only RMH events to be held in regal NSW and the support has been exceptional. We hope that the ball will not only raise the much needed funds, but highlight the important work that is being achieved by the people at RMH.”
“When parents think of their child's future, an extended stay in hospital is not part of the plan. We hope that a Ronald McDonald House serving the Central West will ease the load at a difficult time,” concluded Kylie.
Tickets are available through Ticketek.
