Angullong is a family owned wine company from the premium high altitude cool climate wine region of Orange in the Central West, Central Ranges, of New South Wales Explorer Country, located about 350km west of Sydney.
The Angullong vineyards are located on the southern lower slopes of the Orange region at the foothills of Mt Canobolas, an ancient volcano. Angullong's topography is best described as dramatic. The country ranges from undulating to steep hills with spectacular limestone escarpments that radically descend to the fast flowing Belubula River.
The vineyard takes its name from the indigenous word for running water - highly appropriate with the numerous creeks and wild beauty of the Belubula River surrounding it.
Angullong's bluestone cellars, located in the picturesque village of Millthorpe, was built in the late 1800s as stables to the adjoining hotel.
