Toorak Wines is located at Willandra Estate in Leeton, in the Riverina wine region of New South Wales Big Rivers.
Frank Bruno Senior immigrated from post-war Italy in the 1950's and worked on a 50-acre property in the Riverina. Frank worked hard enough to eventually purchase this farm from the original owners which still had the original mixed plantings of peaches, apricots, and oranges.
In 1962 Frank Bruno Sr. planted the first grapes on the 50 acre family farm which soon created an interest for Frank's two sons Vince and Frank Junior .
Over time the focus on grape production led them to making their own wine and in 1965 the first commercial vintage was made.
Toorak Winery is a family owned and operated winery that started out as a small production facility processing approximately 30 tonnes of grapes, and with gradual expansions, today processes 5000 tonnes of grapes annually, supplying Australian and International Markets with a range of premium wines.
The next generation is now contributing, with both Frank and Vince¿s children taking the wines to new levels of excellenceToorak Wines has many fine ranges of wines.
