Fernbrook Garden is one of Australia's most beautiful woodland gardens and is situated near the top of Bellbird Hill at Kurrajong Heights. Visitors enjoy a gentle stroll through winding pathways.
The path leads through a beautiful pocket of rainforest where Little Wheeny Creek begins its journey to the valley below. Here among the ferns and moss covered boulders, and beneath the overhead canopy, the birds present a feast to interested watchers. This area has been restored and landscaped and is a peaceful spot to sit and relax before heading up to the lake above.
Fernbrook Botanical Art Gallery is the working studio of Elaine Musgrave who is a well known botanical artist. An old milking shed has been lovingly restored to enable Elaine to combine her studio work with her gallery, where visitors can view her very finely detailed watercolour studies, and, are most welcome to watch her at work.
