Allandale is a modern small to medium size winery situated in the Lower Hunter Valley wine growing area just north of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The winery was established in 1978 and over the time has built an enviable reputation for premium quality varietal wines. Over the last few years the winery has sourced grapes from the Mudgee area, the Hilltops region (near Young, NSW), McLaren Vale and of course predominantly the Hunter Valley.
The winery is owned and operated by Wally and Judith Atallah who have seen the winery develop from a small production sold through cellar door to a winery with sales in all the eastern states and export markets in 5 overseas countries.
Allandale is managed by Bill Sneddon (a graduate in Oenology from Charles Sturt University). Bill oversees marketing and sales operations and is the winemaker for the winery.
