Prestigious Judging Panel Announced
National Cool Climate Wine Show 2010

This year's National Cool Climate Wine Show to be held at Bathurst in October will host some of the best judges in the wine business.
Tim Knappstein (Riposte Wines) renowned Australian vigneron and wine judge will be returning this year to head the judging panel, supported by Lester Jesberg (Winewise magazine) and Steve Goodwin (Witchmont Estate Wines).
Other judges include experienced Australian and New Zealand wine makers; Andrew Spinaze (Tyrells), Mike Deuliis (Deuliis Wines), Len Sorbello (Winewise magazine ) and Simon Nunns (Cooper’s Creek Wines – New Zealand). Associate judges Lucy Maddox (Madrez Wine), Tom Ward (Swinging Bridge) and Chris Parsons (Wicks Estate) will complete the prestigious judging panel.
Entries are being sought from across Australia, and Chief Steward Mark Haley has advised that entries have been “coming in at a rapid pace”.
With close to 1000 entries received last year from almost 450 wineries, Mark Renzaglia, chair of the Show committee is expecting even more this year.
Judging is between 12-15 October with a public tasting at the Bathurst Showground on the evening of Friday, October 15. Entry forms, Class schedules and regulations can be found in the Entry section of the Show website (www.coolwines.com.au).
