John and Iris offer warm hospitality and premium Bed and Breakfast accommodation in their non-smoking architectural home with wonderful outdoor living. Nestled in the foothills of picturesque Havelock North, in the heart of Wine Country, Hawke's Bay. They love to meet people, have travelled extensively, and will enjoy cooking you a sumptuous breakfast. Dinner can be supplied in a romantic setting, by arrangement. John is an artist since retiring and has a house studio that you are welcome to visit. Original New Zealand art features throughout the house.
The Loft Homestay is just two minutes by car from the village where there are good restaurants and boutique shopping. Just 20 minutes from Napier, the Art Deco city and 10 minutes from Hastings, both interesting cities with excellent shopping. The great Hawke's Bay beaches are just a 20 minutes drive and also it is very close to some of New Zealand's leading world class wineries such as Te Mata, Black Barn and Craggy Range.
