Join in the thrill of a women's-only, fishing competition.
The Reel Women Barra Classic is one of two Northern Territory ladies-only fishing tournaments, with the main focus on encouraging women to participate in recreational fishing. From novices to experienced anglers, this event is fun for ladies of all ages.
This catch and release competition, utilising rod and reel combinations only, is held over two days. Ladies are encouraged to skipper their own boats, although one male skipper is allowed per boat if required. Species that can be caught are barramundi, threadfin salmon, tarpon and catfish.
