Those seeking something different this festive season can enjoy a truly unique Christmas celebration in the spiritual heart of Australia, surrounded by the stars and the twinkling lights of Field of Light Uluru.

On 25 December a special Night at Field of Light is on offer, complete with a festive menu. This memorable 4½ hour experience includes an introduction to the internationally acclaimed Field of Light Uluru, where guests will enjoy sparkling wine and canapes from an elevated viewing area as the sun sets over Uluru and the Field of Light comes alive.

There will also be extended time for guests to immerse themselves in the magical installation following their sumptuous three-course Christmas buffet dinner featuring both traditional dishes and bush tucker-inspired fare.

Christmas dishes on offer include roasted turkey with sage gravy; glazed Christmas ham with native chutney; smoked salmon platters; chilled prawns; Christmas pudding with brandy crème anglaise; Christmas cookies, and fruit mince tarts. Dishes with native Australian flavours include smoked kangaroo with native pepperberry yoghurt; poached prawn, sea parsley and finger lime aioli bun; native thyme roasted beef porterhouse medallions, roasted root vegetables and red wine jus; warm pear and lemon myrtle pudding, and Davidson plum baked cheesecake.

This special Christmas evening under the stars is priced at $260 per adult and $130 per child (10-15 years), including return coach transfers. Guests can also choose to arrive in spectacular style by camel or helicopter for this experience.
