Koorana Crocodile Farm is located about 30 kms east of Rockhampton in Coowonga, in Central Queensland. The farm does not take any crocodiles from the wild and fulfils the IUCN International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) and CITES (Conservation on International Trade in Endangered Species) criteria for self contained breeding farm.Koorana is an approved farm, operating under the Australian Government's strategic conservation program. Koorana is breeding and using F2 generation captive bred crocodiles.Koorana Crocodile Farm and Restaurant offers the visitor two tours a day.
Koorana opens at 10am each day.
The first tour is 10.30am - 12noon.
Lunch (croc meals are available) 12 noon - 1pm.
Second Tour is 1pm - 2.30pm.
Our gates close at 3pm.
Koorana is open every day except Christmas Day.
