Experience the Sunshine State on a plate at Regional Flavours presented by The Courier-Mail, Queensland’s premier free food and wine festival.

Held in Brisbane’s picturesque South Bank Parklands, Regional Flavours features free entertainment from celebrity chefs (think the MasterChef Australia Judges, Sarah Wilson and Katherine Sabbath to name a few), delicious food, beer and wine, live music and kids activities.

Hungry gastronomes take note – the event is also home to a thriving producer market featuring more than 80 stalls from across the state. Work your way through aromatic wine, rich desserts, crisp fruit and vegetables, flavoursome jams and sauces, creamy nuts and cheeses plus plenty more.

To plan your day, check out the complete event program now (link above). Regional Flavours is open from 10am-5pm on both days, except River Quay which opens until 8pm, and The Hunting Clwhich opens from 5pm-late on Friday 20 July and until late on both other days.

Highlight events include:

Triumphant Trio - Yummy, Easy, Quick
Presented with his usual panache, Matt Preston takes a deep-dive into your pantry and freezer to rescue everyday items, cooking quick dishes with a Queensland twist from his latest book Yummy Easy Quick.

River Quay
A place for those who seek to find, a way to leave their world behind... If rest and relaxation in palatial surrounds is what you desire, venture to River Quay presented by eatSouthBank. Abound with the gentle hum of mellow tunes plus food and cocktails from some of South Bank’s five-star restaurants; Stokehouse Q, The Jetty, River Quay Fish, Popolo and Aquitaine, River Quay is Regional Flavours’ most luxe location.

Cooking with (Sugar-Free) Flow
Cooking with less is the holy grail of kitchen simplicity and I Quit Sugar founder, Sarah Wilson, has the know how to help you find your oodie flow.
