Experience the magic of hot air ballooning over the Tropical Tablelands with Champagne Balloon Flights - a breathtaking start to your day! Ballooning is a soft adventure activity that can be safely experienced and enjoyed by anyone aged four through to 90 years of age. Their hot air balloons showcase colours and designs of the Tropics. The area they fly is an approximate 45 minute drive from Cairns - a scenic drive through Kuranda to Mareeba on the Tropical Tablelands. As the sun's first rays lighten the skies, the balloon swells, slowly taking its form. The views from the balloon are spectacular as they gently float across the sky. This is where the Rainforest meets the Australian Outback! Of course, sightings of the wildlife are common and your Pilot will share points of interest in his commentary. Following the flight, a celebratory hot and cold tropical buffet and champagne breakfast is served on the wide verandahs of the Mareeba Heritage Museum and caters to all tastes. Admission to the Museum is also included and guests are invited to inspect the displays of history, heritage and culture during breakfast. The Memories will last a lifetime!
