We love you Queensland
Fab Feb on the Granite Belt
Media release
The Granite Belt Wine Country’s 2011 Fab Feb campaign is designed to ‘share the love’ inviting Queenslanders to take a break from the flood recovery and escape to the country.
During February 2011, more than 25 Stanthorpe tourist operators are offering thirty per cent off regular prices in a campaign organised by the Granite Belt Wine and Tourism (GBWT).
GBWT President Peter Orr said, 'Thirty per cent off is a big gift from small business operators, but we know that many people have done it tough. These deals are open to anyone in Queensland whether or not they were actually inundated with flood waters, because almost everyone has been affected in some way.'
The Fab Feb deals include special offers on accommodation, wine, meals, tours and attractions. Fab Feb hot deals are for purchases made online during February – even if the visit or product is not used till later in the year. GBWT is topping up the deal by offering one lucky Fab Feb customer the chance to win a case of Granite Belt wines. For more information and to book deals see Granite Belt Wine and Tourism website.
Mr Orr added: 'The hot part of hot deals is a bit ironic because the Granite Belt is the coolest place in Queensland, typically five degrees cooler than Brisbane and the coast!
The Granite Belt Wine and Tourism Inc was formed in July 2006; following the formal merger of the Granite Belt Wine Association with the Granite Belt Tourist Association. It has 150 full and associate members.
