The Q150 RADF Inter-regional Youth Project is planned to be the youth event within the year long celebrations, commemorating the separation of the colony of Queensland from New South Wales on 6 June, 1859. The schedule includes performances of the original rock music theatre show ‘primates - beyond your wildest dreams' as well as community focused programs including new music, new media and visual arts. Fringe activities will include creative workshops, local history events, indigenous and multicultural engagements, extreme sports and street art. This is the first festival in this region to contain such a diverse mix of elements with a specific focus on youth.
