Since Bibb last toured here on the back of his 2006 album Diamond Days, he's played hundreds of shows across three continents, with acclaimed appearances at esteemed festivals in 2008 such as Glastonbury, Cornbury Festival, the Cambridge Folk Festival, Nice Jazz Festival (France), and more.
For fans of sublime bass playing, the exquisite Danny Thompson, who began his career in the legendary sixties folk rock group Pentangle, and has gone on to accompany artists such as Roy Orbison, Richard Thompson and Kate Bush, will join Eric on stage for the Australian tour. The "extraordinary percussionist" (Daily Telegraph, London) Larry Crockett joins Eric and Danny in Australia. Larry has played everywhere from the Cotton Club and the legendary Apollo Theatre, through to the Royal Albert Hall and the Olympia in Paris, accompanying everyone from Elton John to Liz McComb, the Four Tops, Martha Reeves, and more.
