The streets of Bundaberg will come alive to the sounds of Jazz, as the New Orleans Bourbon Street Festival makes its way to Bourbong Street for the annual Australian Jazz Convention.
Come along to a Picnic Day – to be held throughout Botanic Gardens, a New Years Eve Jazz Affair Party, a Street Parade and a Gospel Service to be held in the Anglican Church. There will also be Programmed “blows” held throughout the main venues (Civic Centre, Moncrieff Theatre and School of Arts), as well as Art Displays, Original Tunes competition and Workshops.
At any given time up to six different bands can be programmed to be playing in various venues providing a smorgasbord for jazz lovers. Day passes will also be available (to be confirmed), however to attend the New Years Eve function people must register as delegates. Delegate registration is open to the public – ticket covers all actes.
