Operated in conjunction with the beef cattle enterprise on Springbrook Farm, Spring Gully Olives has five hectares of olives planted with varieties selected to allow for both oil and pickled-olive production. The grove is located in the South Burnett region of South East Queensland on predominantly forest soils.
Spring Gully has its own oil processing equipment and uses the Italian designed Oliomio, which by its gentle action and heat controlled operation ensures that the oil does not reach those temperatures at which the essential, volatile components are lost.
The olive press can be visited, by prior arrangement, and tastings of the olive products are available for groups and individuals.
