Out of Space in the Second World exhibition will explore the theme of outer space and what it means to be out of space in "outer space". It will tie in concepts of discovery in the universe, presenting scenarios of time travel, storytelling, adventure and astronomy. The exhibition will present this interpretation in a modernistic, contemporary and surreal way. It will also incorporate creatures (animal and human) both mythical and real in a fictional and out of this world way.
The outcome is to take viewers on an incredibly whimsical adventure (that is open to interpretation) of imagination, invention and trickery through the use of storytelling. Ideas of the solar system, outer space and freedom will result in curious behaviour in the artworks.
