Hidden Creek Winery is situated near Ballandean in the beautiful rugged high altitude hills of Queensland's Granite Belt (at 980 metres above sea level), about 3 hours drive from Brisbane.
Hidden Creek produces small quantities of high quality wines with regional and varietal integrity. Grapes from their vineyards are hand-pruned and hand-picked at optimum times. The Hidden Creek winemaker handles small batches using traditional methods. Modern equipment and premium imported oak barrels ensure consistent high quality. At 900m above sea level, the vineyard runs along a north facing ridge and this enables full ripening of the grapes.
The food at the Cellar Door Cafe focuses on Modern Australian Cuisine that complements the fine Hidden Creek wines.Snacks, light meals, substantial lunches, coffee and cake are served overlooking the picturesque man-made lake.
