Kominos Wines grows, makes and bottles wines on the high altitude Granite Belt (near Stanthorpe), Southern Downs, Queensland.They attribute their quality and success to their hands on contact with all facets of the production process, and of course their love of wine.
Tony and Mary Comino grow grapes on 30 acres of vineyards. Together they handcraft and sell their wines on site in their landmark Australiana winery.Tony is one of the most experienced vignerons and winemakers on the Granite Belt. He grew up in a family that like many migrant families, enjoyed wine. At high School he excelled in biological science and pursued this love through his Bachelor of Agriculture Science Degree at University of Queensland graduating in 1980.
The Cellar Door is open daily from 8.30am to 5pm.
