Tobin Wines is small boutique winery located in the heart of the Granite Belt wine district (Southern Downs of Queensland).
The Costanzo family operated the vineyard until the early sixties, followed by the Ricca family until the year 2000. These families excelled in grape growing and winemaking from their table grapes and traditionally that wine was sold in bulk.
Today at Tobin Wines they talk about growing the wine rather than making the wine. Their philosophy is based on the fact that superb fruit quality makes for outstanding wine therefore they have minimal interference in the wine making process. Their production is limited to between 100 to 150 cases of each varietal every year.
