Formerly called Big Barrel Vineyard and Winery, Maleny Mountain Wines in the Big Barrel is just one hour north of Brisbane in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland of Queensland.
Try their large range of wines in their unique 8 metre high wine barrel showroom. Whatever your flavour, they have a wine to suit your palate. Their friendly staff can offer you suggestions on what wines match which meals and assist you in choosing the best wine for your celebration.
The Maleny Mountain range includes reds, whites, fortifieds and dessert wines. There are many sweet and dry choices available for you to taste and take home with you. You are guaranteed to find a wine that you'll enjoy.
They are open 7 days a week, from 9.30am to 5pm for wine tastings and sales. Groups, special events and coaches are always welcome.
Lunches are available on weekends, with teas, coffees, desserts and cheese platters available every day of the week.
