Robert Channon Wines is a boutique winery in the Granite Belt area of Queensland Southern Downs. The Granite Belt is Queensland's premium wine grape growing area, situated about two and a half hours' drive from Brisbane.
Since it's inception in 1998 Robert Channon wines have won a number of awards and received rave reviews from the nations top wine judges and writers. Their verdelho in particular is worth the visit.
The Singing Lake Cafe, with its stunning lake view, is open for lunch 7 days a week with a varied menu. There are also week-end blackboard specials and the standard menu changes seasonally.
Opening hours for the Cellar Door and Cafe are weekends 10.00 to 5.00 and weekdays 11.00 to 4.00. The Cafe is also open for the Granite Belt's best breakfasts on Sundays from 9.00. It is closed Christmas Day and Good Friday.
