Sirromet's vineyards may be quietly sequestered away in the Granite Belt high country, but to get the real experience of their wines, food and reputation for quality, you don’t have to travel far. Located on Mount Cotton Road, they are roughly 30 minutes south of downtown Brisbane.
Recently awarded a 4.5 star winery rating by James Halliday, Sirromet is a family owned company proud to present high-quality, premium Australian wines. Sirromet Winery and Restaurant Lurleen's also offer winery tours, wine tastings, and Cellar Door wine sales as well as weddings, corporate functions and ‘a day on the green concerts'.
Magnificent blue granite towers, heavy wooden doors three metres high, comfy seating for you and all your friends, and surrounds which include roaming wallabies, impossibly blue skies and trestled terraces that look like Tuscany. For a true exploration of the senses visit Sirromet's Cellar Door, the perfect place to kick back, relax and savour a glass of Srromet wine and gourmet cheese platter or light meal. Visitors can taste up to eight of Sirromet's award winning wines for only $5/person. Wine tastings available 7 days a week from 9am-4pm (except some public holidays).
On the weekends take a guided tour of the winery, have a game of Pentaque on the court or just kick-back and enjoy the fantastic sounds of live jazz.
Sirromet's Cellar Door, Restaurant Lurleen’s and visitor’s centre (incl the winery) are located in Mount Cotton, while the vineyards themselves are located out at Ballandean in the Granite Belt region.
