May is a stunning time of year to visit Hahndorf with autumn in full colour, and if you are a music lover then there is no better day to visit than 8 May.
The Hahndorf Town Band is presenting the 2010 Band Festival. Six bands from around Adelaide will be entertaining visitors, and competing in this great annual event. The day kicks off at 11am with a traditional street march, a stirring spectacle in such a beautiful setting.
Then you can enjoy the comfort of the Hahndorf Institute from 1pm, where you can sit back and enjoy each band's 25 minute light concert selection. The local hospitality includes complimentary tea, coffee and cake, and all for a AUD5.00 entry fee.
Make a day of it, set 8 May aside for a great time in the Hills.
